London Utd go to Semi's

Wednesday 9th April - CSA Champions League Quarter Final 2nd Leg
Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid
London United win 6-0 on aggregate

London United beat Madrid Cosmos 4-0 in the CSA Champions League 2nd leg with goals from Edward Redwood, Mark Strickland, John Macdonald and CraiCo.

However, United suffered a setback when goalkeeper Mikki da Silva pulled his groin and was forced off. First-choice stopper Simon Herding watched the game on the TV with a back injury. Steven Knott pulled off some fine saves from Juanito and Mark Sánchez Pizjuan.

The Uruguayan Torres Pizarro brothers Julio and Carlos continued to threaten Knott but the young 20-year-old 'keeper had the best game of his career.

United now face the E-League big boys Harchester in the semi-finals.
