Barcelona Bullfighters' new Australian defender John Miljkovic has defended his €18m (AUS$31m) move from Sydney KangaBlues, saying it was "time for a new challenge."
The 28-year-old has impressed many ELF and BritLeague clubs around the world after impressing for his country is last month's MegaCup, but KangaBlues chairman Jim Caldwell is concerned about the lure of players going to Europe.
"It is pandemic," says Caldwell. "But we have to take it on the chin."
