Hosts Uruguay have become the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals, defeating Paraguay 2-0.
Carlos Torres-Pizarro was key for Uruguay, scoring one goal and setting up the second for his brother, Julio Torres-Pizarro.
Honduras were the first team knocked out of the AmeriCup, with a late goal from Fredy Sánchez Arango. Paraguay and Colombia now play each other next Sunday, in a winner-take-all for a place in the last eight; however, Paraguay will go through on goal difference should it end in a draw.
