Rafael Sánchez scored a sloppy goal as Spain unconvincingly beat Peru 1-0 in Lima.
Rafael played a lovely one-two with namesake Quique Sánchez but as he shot it initially hit Diego Ochoa and then bounced back off Rafa into the goal as 'keeper Mario Marquez stood absolutely still.
Spain boss Miguel Ángel Ramos will be livid at his side's defensive display - they were completely disorganized at times and almost paid for it.
Sergio Sánchez failed to play Manuel Torres offside, and the Mexico City Toros striker found himself 1v1 with Juan Antonio Gomez, but the Madrid Cosmos 'keeper saved comfortably.
And Spain were given a real threat when Rubén Rodríguez' free-kick smacked the crossbar.
But the Spaniards won against the run of the play for Rafael Sanchez to run through and score an ugly goal 20 minutes from time.
